Parents Magazine Names Cincinnati Zoo One of Top 10 Best Zoos for Kids

The results are a culmination of a three month study which examined 50 zoos nationwide. The Cincinnati Zoo is the only Ohio Zoo to make the Top 10 list. Parents focused on honoring zoos that offer a range of interactive, family friendly activities, while also fostering appreciation, knowledge and excitement about nature. The results of the survey appear in the May 2009 issue of Parents magazine. "It's always great for someone to validate what we already knew here in Cincinnati," said Thane Maynard, Executive Director of the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. "We run a first-class Zoo that is world-renowned for a variety of things - but mostly for fun! We are honored to be named."
