About
Hauck House Museum is an educational institution established to promote an understanding of daily life and customs in late 19th-century urban Cincinnati through the preservation and interpretation of the Hauck House.
Visit this Italianate home of a prominent Cincinnatian in it’s original location in what was known as "Millionaire’s Row," and learn how a prosperous family lived during the latter years of the 19th century.
The Hauck House has a striking façade of carved stone, and the spacious rooms have intricately painted ceilings, floors of parquet wood in elaborate patterns, marble mantels, and massive woodwork.
John Hauck was a German immigrant who rose to prominence in the area as one of Cincinnati’s famous brewers, and the furnishings, memorabilia, and antique toys throughout his home must be seen to be believed!
