Tens of thousands line the parade route of the Findlay Market Opening Day Parade each year to celebrate the return of the baseball season. It's a tradition like no other for this baseball-crazy town. Story opportunities include features on the legacy of baseball in Cincinnati as the home of professional baseball and the pageantry of the parade. This year, the Reds host the Florida Marlins on Thursday, April 5. |

A Day in Pompeii Exhibit at the Cincinnati Museum CenterA Day in Pompeii opens at the Cincinnati Museum Center March 2, and will feature hundreds of objects in an interactive installation telling the story of ancient Pompeii. More than 2,000 years ago Pompeii vanished after the Mt. Vesuvius erupted over the town, which was known at the time as the playground for rich Italians. The exhibit will feature the largest ever collection of body casts to be displayed in a dramatic skeleton collection. The Museum Center is one of only four museums in the country to host the exhibit. |

2012 Cincinnati Reds CaravanThe 2012 Cincinnati Reds Caravan, sponsored by the Cincinnati USA Regional Tourism Network, will make its way through Reds Country January 26-29 with three tours and dozens of stops to meet with Reds fans.
