Music Scene

Cincinnati USA music scene -- vibrant, eclectic and spaning virtually every genre. Syd Nathan's King Records put Cincinnati USA on the musical map in the 1940s and 50s producing tracks for James Brown, John Lee Hooker, The Stanley Brothers, and Hank Ballard. Sports

Sports fans can always find something to cheer about in Cincinnati USA. The city has two major franchises, the Cincinnati Reds (America's first professional baseball team) and Cincinnati Bengals, six minor league teams including the Cincinnati Cyclones (Hockey) and college institutions representing many conferences, notably the University of Cincinnati/Big East and Xavier University/Atlantic 10.

Food

Cincinnati USA is a food lover's paradise. Our culinary heritage dates back to the early 19th century and German roots of biergartens and breweries. Several local restaurants specialize in schnitzel and Bavarian inspired fare including the newly opened Christian Moerlein Lager House at Riverfront Park. Cincinnati USA is also known as the Chili Capital of America and the World with more chili restaurants per capita than any other city in the nation or world and is internationally known for Montgomery Inn Barbeque and Graeter's Ice Cream (an Oprah favorite). Cincinnati USA is home to more than 4000 restaurants from burger joints to five star dining. Other culinary highlights include Findlay Market, Ohio's oldest continuously operated public market, Cincinnati State Midwest Culinary Institute and Jungle Jim's, an international market featuring 150,000 items form 75 countries.
